Golfers aren't hampered by the weather!

It has been a disappointing start to the Bear Golf Society's 2024 season. Thanks to wet weather affecting courses – and with April approaching - they haven't been able to play a match!

The Bears are one of CCHF's most dedicated – and longest serving – supporters who have raised thousands of pounds for us over the past 25 years. While the bad weather has meant they've not been able to start their 2024 charity fundraising in earnest, the Bears have already been able to donate £450 to local charities, including CCHF - even before an iron or putter has been swung competitively!

One group of Bears very kindly donated a huge Easter hamper they won in a golf club's raffle and which was auctioned among all Bear Society members earlier this month. It realised £150 for CCHF thanks to one generous golfer's bid.
