Blood Brothers musical is a hit for charity

Bucket collections at the end of each show for last week's run of the award-winning Blood Brothers musical at the Aylesbury Waterside Theatre netted a wonderful £263 for CCHF!

The show – which was written by Willy Russell and first appeared in the West End in 1983 – remains amazingly successful and continued to attract large audiences throughout the week. The Waterside Theatre, in Exchange Street, Aylesbury, was opened in 2010 and quickly became a popular and important live venue for the town and Buckinghamshire.

We're really grateful for the support of the Waterside who gave us the opportunity to put the work of the charity in front of thousands of Buckinghamshire theatre-goers.

Each night's audience responded generously and made donations, which will go towards supporting exceptional NHS cancer treatment facilities across Buckinghamshire and neighbouring areas - and specifically through the Cancer Care and Haematology Unit at Stoke Mandeville Hospital and the Sunrise Unit at Wycombe Hospital.

If you weren't able to donate last week, feel free to do so here: https://www.cchf.org.uk/donate. We will be so grateful!
