Raffle marks start of CCHU Christmas
The ever-popular Christmas raffle and sweet stall - organised by the reception team at the Cancer Care and Haematology Unit, Stoke Mandeville Hospital - is now under way.
Held at Christmas and Easter each year, the raffle raises huge amounts for the Cancer Care and Haematology Charity (CCHF), which supports Buckinghamshire Healthcare NHS Trust's cancer and haematology service facilities at Stoke Mandeville and Wycombe hospitals.
As ever, the reception team have pulled out all of the stops and – with the aid of generous friends and supporters – have produced two tables already groaning with prizes, Christmas gifts and sweets. And there is still time to donate suitable prizes – just drop them off at the CCHU if you're passing. They'll be very welcome!
Also, if you're visiting CCHU in the couple of weeks, please take a look at the prizes on display in the reception area and consider buying some tickets. They're just £1 a go, and we wish you the very best of luck!
