CCHU welcomes Hillier Hopkins

Leading chartered accountancy firm Hillier Hopkins LLP have paid a visit to Stoke Mandeville’s Cancer Care and Haematology Unit.

Managing Director Alex Bottom and Audit Manager Leena Tailor came to present a cheque to Chair of the Cancer Care and Haematology Fund (the charity that supports Buckinghamshire Healthcare NHS Trust’s cancer treatment centres) Dr Ann Watson, following a hugely successful fundraising event earlier this year.

More than 100 members of staff from Hillier Hopkins’ Watford, Milton Keynes and London offices took part in a virtual Land’s End to John O’Groats challenge and a Bikeathon.  Participants raised - together with a contribution from the company - more than £12,000 pounds for CCHF!

the event was organised by Leena who wanted to do something to support a colleague who is undergoing cancer treatment at CCHU.

Hillier Hopkins began life in 1933 as Lewis Hillier and Co, accountants, in Luton before founder John Hillier was joined by Len Hopkins and the firm became Hillier Hopkins and Co. Today Hillier Hopkins is one of the top 50 firms in the UK with more than 200 staff.
