Progress on CCHU secret garden

Despite cold and rain, hard work is going ahead on garden renovations at CCHU and the plans and tireless work of the two volunteers, Frances and James, are coming to life. Many thanks go to Tim Finch and his team at Decorare who have gone the extra mile and done a beautiful job. Also thanks as always to the estates team at the hospital who have made this all happen, and to the talented people at Horatio’s garden, Babylon nurseries, Cuxham and others who grew and contributed plants. And to Marie Pennell, Haematology nurse, who brought everyone together on this project, her final gift to Haematology and Cancer Care before she retired at the end of April after years of faithful service.

The Cancer Care and Haematology Fund are happy to fund this beautiful garden.

Planting completed around the crab apple tree.
