We are pleased to announce the appointment of a new trustee for the charity.
Dr. Catherine Hildyard is a haematology consultant for Buckinghamshire Healthcare NHS Trust (BHT), based at Stoke Mandeville Hospital, near Aylesbury, and is directly involved in the work of the Cancer and Haematology Services.

Dr Ann Watson, in welcoming Catherine, said: “We are really pleased to have another working clinician on our trustee team. This is important because it better informs our decision-making on which projects will best improve the experience and conditions for cancer and haematology patients and staff."
The Cancer Care and Haematology Fund is a small charity run by a team of eight trustees who are all volunteers. The Board of Trustees are in regular discussions with the staff in CCHU, the Sunrise Unit at Wycombe Hospital and with BHT about how best to support both patients and staff. We have no employees and keep our outgoings low to maximise the value of the money donated by our many wonderful supporters and fundraisers.
