It's that time of the year again, and the reception team at the Cancer Care and Haematology Unit (CCHU) at Stoke Mandeville Hospital have turned their attention to Christmas.
Already the CCHU's reception area has tables packed with wonderful prizes, gifts and sweets ready for the annual raffle and sale.
Twice a year – at Christmas and at Easter - raffles are traditionally organised by the hard-working reception team and all of the money they raise is donated to our charity, the Cancer Care and Haematology Fund (CCHF), for which we are so grateful.
If you're visiting CCHU over the next few weeks please take a look at the prizes on display in the reception area and consider buying some tickets. They're just £1 a go, and we wish you the very best of luck!
Every penny raised goes towards supporting patients at CCHU and the Sunrise Unit at Wycombe Hospital who come from across Buckinghamshire and neighbouring areas and who are being treated for cancer and blood-related illnesses. As a result of these raffles - and with help of so many other supporters and fundraisers throughout the year - CCHF is able to add value to Buckinghamshire Healthcare NHS Trust's exceptional cancer treatment service.
