Our fundraisers have been busy!

Our supporters have been very busy in the last few weeks raising cash for CCHF.

The first of two events held at the Aristocrat pub, Aylesbury, was Barty's Charity Evening on 20 April, organised by Neil Bartholomew, and featuring local band The Secret Drummer. The second was a quiz night on St George's Day (23 April). They were organised in association with the Aylesbury Invitation Pool League (AIPL), who have chosen CCHF as their charity of the year. These two events raised a whopping £1,485!

Earlier this week a very tasty cake sale held at Haddenham Village Hall – and organised by cancer patients Paula Tompkins and Joanna Swinton-Bland – raised £300 for CCHF. Another event organised by these ladies - a table top sale at the village hall planned for 9 June - will hopefully swell our funds still further.

For the past few months we've had a collection bucket on the counter of Esquires Coffee, in Market Square, Aylesbury, courtesy of Adrian, which has raised £94 thanks to the coffee shop's wonderful customers.

We can't thank all of our supporters enough – as well as those who donated every penny – for their hard work and generosity. As a small charity run entirely by volunteers, we rely on people who are keen to support patients, families and clinical staff at Buckinghamshire Healthcare NHS Trust's cancer treatment service at the Cancer Care and Haematology Unit, Stoke Mandeville, and the Sunrise Unit at Wycombe Hospital.
