Fitness racer is a winner for CCHF

Forest School Leader Anne will be taking part in an intense endurance event in London at the end of November, to raise money for CCHF and to support a friend who is undergoing cancer treatment.

Anne is competing in HYROX London – to be held at the ExCel venue throughout the weekend of 25/26 November - and she will be one of a record-breaking 11,000 athletes taking part.

HYROX is fitness racing and combines both running and functional workout stations, where participants run 1km, followed by one functional workout station, repeated eight times. Each race is hosted indoors in expansive exhibition halls, creating an immersive and electrifying race, where spectators can support contestants from the beginning to the end.

Becky 2023

Anne is raising money for CCHF as it's Becky's chosen charity and she is going through her treatment at the Cancer Care and Haematology Unit at Stoke Mandeville Hospital. “Before treatment Becky ran a 100+k ultra in June, so to say she is strong is an understatement. She is an inspirational lady,” explained Anne.

You can support Anne by donating through her JustGiving page.

Everyone at CCHF wishes Anne a – rather breathless – good luck!

We continue to be so grateful for all of our supporters' exploits. Their amazing efforts allow us to continue to support Buckinghamshire Healthcare NHS Trust's vital Cancer Care and Haematology treatment unit at Stoke Mandeville Hospital, Aylesbury, and the Sunrise Unit at Wycombe Hospital.
