christmas voucher bonus for cchf

The Cancer Care and Haematology Fund has received an early Christmas present thanks to Red Kite Community Housing's 12 Days of Kindness giveaway event for Buckinghamshire charities.

Mike Snell, a CCHF Trustee, collected a £200 Amazon voucher when he visited Red Kite's head office in High Wycombe earlier today.

Mike said: "We were really delighted to be awarded one of the 12 vouchers and thoroughly surprised, particularly when we were among many excellent local charities being considered each day.  We are very grateful to Red Kite Community Housing for thinking of us and grateful, too, to our supporters who nominated CCHF!"

Red Kite are a tenant-led, not for proift, charitable housing association who own and manage more than 6,600 homes mainly in the High Wycombe area.

The 12 Days of Kindness initiative - which runs from 1 to the 18 December - is in its third year and is about spreading joy and supporting incredible community groups who make a difference every day.  Each charity had to be nominated once each day to take part and winners were chosen at random at the end of each of the 12 days.

CCHF works across Buckinghamshire supporting those who are being treated for cancer and haematology illnesses by Buckinghamshire Healthcare NHS Trust, particularly at their Sunrise Unit, at Wycombe Hospital, and the Cancer Care and Haematology Unit (CCHU) at Stoke Mandeville Hospital.
