International Nurses Day is celebrated around the world every May 12, the anniversary of Florence Nightingale's birth.
So today we're sending massive thanks to all nurses everywhere!
In particular, we applaud the nurses at the Cancer Care & Haematology Unit at Stoke Mandeville Hospital, Aylesbury, and the Sunrise Unit at High Wycombe Hospital, who every day work so hard to treat and support those who are suffering from cancer and blood disorders in Buckinghamshire.
