Waitrose - Berkhamsted Branch very kindly nominated the charity as one of their “Community Matters” charities and donated £450


May 2010

Councillor Mrs Ranjula Takodra MBE, Town Mayor of Aylesbury made the CCHF her charity of the year from May 2009 to April 2010. A donation was made to June Wilson OBE, on Friday, 21st May 2010 at the Annual Mayor Making Ceremony held at the Civic Centre in Aylesbury. Mrs Takodra has pledged to carry on fund raising for CCHF since stepping down as Mayor of Aylesbury. The Trustees would like to express their gratitude for this generous donation.

July 2009

Make a Difference (MAD) held a Summer Ball in Upper Wingbury on Sat 18th July 2009 for 440 guests and raised a staggering £40,000 for the charity. A tremendous amount of thanks go to all the supporters, many businesses and local individuals who contributed to this fantastic event. Consideration is being given to repeating the event in the future. Wow!
